TweedleWink Online Class Policy

School Calendar

  1. Our school calendar for the current academic year (2022) is attached below. Please note the dates of our term breaks, marked in pink.
     

  2. TweedleWink has 48 lessons per year; each week has a fresh lesson starting from Sunday to Saturday. We will not repeat the previous lesson once the week is over. Our teachers will need to know ahead so that they can schedule you into a class with the same lesson that your child has missed. If you are unable to let us know at least one week ahead, your child may have to repeat the same lesson within the same week.

School Payment Cycle

  1. You will be provided with the dates of your first and last classes. For example:
    - First Lesson: 7 January 2021
    - Last lesson: 1 April 2021
     

  2. All new registrations with TweedleWink start with a package of 12 lessons with a tuition fee of $300.

    If your classes begin in the middle of a term (ie.Term 1), once your 12 lessons are completed (the middle of the next term, Term 2), your next payment is a sync up until the end of that term. Future payments will be collected according to the terms listed on our calendar. For example:

First payment:
$300 (for Lesson 3 -14)

Second payment:
Sync up : $ 250 (Term 2, 2021: for Lessons 15 -24)
The second invoice will be sent by end of Term 1.

Every New Term : $ 300 (Term 3, 2021: for Lessons 25-36)

Future payment:
We would collect $300 at the end of every term - in March, June, September and December.
Note: Payment for tuition fees (12 lessons/term) must be made one week before the class. Teachers will be notified by our system after payment has been made, then meeting link will be sent to parent before the class starts.

Replacement Policy

We encourage parents to maintain a good attendance. Every child will require a period of adjustment to the curriculum, teachers and classmates in each class. A regular attendance allows them the time to settle down and truly maximize their participation.

 

  1. If you are unable to attend a class, please inform the teacher at least one week ahead.
     

  2. Students are entitled to ONE LIVE REPLACEMENT and ONE PRE-RECORDED REPLACEMENT PER TERM.
     

  3. Live replacements must be taken within the same lesson week. Lesson weeks are not repeated. Our teachers will need to know ahead so that they can schedule you into a class with the same lesson that your child has missed. If you are unable to let us know at least one week ahead, your child may have to repeat the same lesson within the same week. Therefore, please let your teachers know ahead and replace the class within the same week to avoid repeating lessons the following week.
     

  4. Prerecorded replacements will only be available for access for 1 week after the current lesson week. 

Teachable Site Access

​

  1. The Teachable site will be accessible once payment is received. After the term ends, parents will have a maximum of one momth to download materials they need before their access to those lessons lapses. Here are the dates for the last day that each term’s lessons will be available:
    - Term 1, 2022: May 2, 2022
    - Term 2, 2022: Aug 2, 2022
    - Term 3, 2022: Nov 1, 2022
    - Term 4, 2022: Jan 24, 2023
    Please download the materials before the last date.
