FREE Infant Stimulation Cards

Strengthen your child's vision with contrast.

Black-and-White Infant Cards

Black and white images are vital for early infant stimulation. Dr. Susan Ludington-Hoe, author of How to Have a Smarter Baby writes: "Babies eyes seek the border of black and white images because it is there that the contrast between black and white is the greatest. Colors that provide the most contrast are the most appealing to babies, black and white, of course, afford the greatest contrast."  Our TweedleWink flashcard videos feature black-and-white, red-green, orange,-blue and yellow-violet PhotoEyeplay images.

Instructions:

  1. Download and print.

Picture-Word Color Flashcards

Teach your child the colors of the rainbow.

Vocabulary Flashcards

Flashcards are an important step in early childhood development. Giving your child images--vocabulary and sight word exposure--stimulates neurological development. Simply put, each time you flash an image to your child, his/her brain creates a place for it. The more images, the more connections are made within the brain. And the more connections are made, the larger memory system your child has to draw from. Our TweedleWink flashcard video series features four picture-word Vocabulary sets in each lesson.  By the time your child has viewed all 48 lessons, he/she will have thousands of images in an ever-growing "mental library".

Instructions:

  1. Download and print.

  2. Mount them to thick cardstock (index card weight) paper.

  3. Write the name of the color--in as many languages as you wish.

  4. Laminate and trim corners.

  5. Flash cards to your child.
