An early start in life
keeps your child ahead.
All you need is the know-how
and as little as ten minutes a day.
Most children start reading when they’re five or six.
Yours can be reading at two or three.
Dear Reader,
I once asked a good friend of mine, a mother of three, "What would be your best wish for your children?"
She thought about it and said, "For them to be able to read early."
"Why?" I asked.
She said that her first child was able to read at age four. That reading ability greatly boosted his natural curiosity to learn, and soon he was eagerly reading books that were ahead of his fellow classmates. That early sense of accomplishment made quite an impact on his eagerness to learn. On the contrary, her younger daughter did not learn to read early, so she sees an obvious difference in her daughter's overall confidence level and enthusiasm towards learning.
That really made me think. I mean, I agree wholeheartedly, and her story made the point that I've been trying to share with others for years.
Another viewpoint
Years ago I was talking with another friend about how she could use some simple early learning techniques to help her young daughter with reading and math early in life. To my surprise, she said she did not want to raise a genius child. She said that besides the fact that it would require too much time on her part, she was afraid that her daughter's happy childhood would be robbed. She would rather not start her early, but just let her play and be happy.
I had to think about that, too. However, her concept of early education was not what I had in mind.
This is what I am talking about
If you have been thinking like my friend -- reluctant to begin your child's learning journey early -- then I feel you are missing a very important opportunity.
I have seen children who are given gentle early learning techniques in a joyful, playful environment express themselves in ways that are beyond their parents' expectations. They are joyful, curious and eager to take-in everything that life shows them.
If you can overcome your hesitation, then you can give your child a very special gift that he or she will be able to use for the rest of his or her life.
Your child is a genius
You see, I believe that as parents our job is to cultivate and bring out the genius within our children, and give them all the very best start in life.
Just imagine your child...
Reading at a very young age, confidently reading signs, billboards, books, labels -- anything with letters and words
Having a happy, creative learning experience at home, and looking forward to school and learning
Figuring out the grocery bill total at the supermarket before the cashier
Using photographic memory and speed reading to breeze through new information and tests
Picking up a language with ease with little or no accent
Maintaining a positive attitude towards learning and high academic achievement
Developing as a full human being with equal amounts of IQ and EQ -- intellect and creativity -- at their disposal
What a blessing this would be for you and your child, and all this can be achieved through a gentle early learning program called Right Brain Education.
Children who grow up with this program learn emotional and intellectual balance. Out of the respect that is given to them, they learn to show respect for all of life. They play, learn and grow with peers their own age -- and even those younger and older -- with great harmony. They naturally develop the quality of their genius that they instinctively know they will use for the rest of their life. Right Brain Education complements their basic nature, and enhances their lifelong potential as a human being.
Why Right Brain Education is so powerful
Right Brain Education is built upon current scientific findings about brain development. For instance, did you know science has proven that...
Learning can -- and does -- begin prenatally.
Brain circuitry develops and grows as brain cells connect with information links. The more information given to a child, the more links are created in the brain. The more links, the greater the lifelong learning capacity.
The brain is divided laterally into two hemispheres. Although they are designed to work with each other, each has a vastly unique personality and ability.
The outer cortex of the brain develops from right to left, providing a window of time during which a child is primarily functioning with the right hemisphere.
The brain is sensitive to subtle frequencies such as light waves, sound, thought and emotion. Children react instinctively not only to what is being taught, but also to the people teaching them, and how the teacher thinks and feels.
The sense of urgency hits home
When I learned about all these findings, I began to panic. I wanted to get my child started as quickly as possible. I felt that if I didn't give him some quality input every day, I would be wasting his brain potential. But I did not have -- and could not find -- any suitable training materials. It took me a long time to weed-through the products available in the marketplace for teaching children before I...
But perhaps I'm getting a little ahead of the story. Please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Wennie Sun. I moved from Taiwan to the United States in the early 1980's to get my Master's Degree in math and computer science. Soon after graduating, I began a long career with a major US communications company.
I was always a career woman, immersed in a professional life, until I became pregnant with my first son in my forties. Then my life totally changed -- for the better, I have to say.
I left my job to learn how to be a mother, and I approached it with the same tenacity that I did with my professional work. I wanted to learn everything I could about it. I soon found out what a challenge parenting would be!
The right time and place -- and the right person

Wennie with her son Benjamin
After a great deal of searching, I was very fortunate to find and learn about Right Brain Education. I can truly say that it was an exciting and fulfilling discovery for me.
As I learned and practiced, I had Pamela's support and confidence along the way. My son began to read by age two, and he is now a voracious learner, enjoying life with a curiosity that still amazes me.
Now as I look back and see how my child has reaped the rewards of all the seeds that have been planted early, there is no greater joy for me than to know that he is on a positive road on his journey through life.

Pamela
If you have not heard of Pamela Hickein, then let me tell you a little bit about her. The love, the knowledge and the passion she has for children is incredible. Pamela has been teaching Right Brain Education to students and teachers all over the globe for the past 15 years, and has raised four beautiful children. She has worked with learning-challenged children for many years, and she understands the homeschooling experience with gifted and learning-disabled children.
She truly holds the highest image for every parent and child, and she is able to draw out the best from each one. It is my great honor and priviledge to know her. And I know you will feel the same once you get to know her, too.
My good fortune can now be yours
While I hope the same success for every parent, I do realize that I had two distinct advantages: (1) I could afford to leave my job and devote my time to my child, and (2) I found a Right Brain Education master teacher (Pamela Hickein) when my child was still very young.
I have seen the benefits of Right Brain Education firsthand, and since I strongly feel the need to share this with others, I have joined forces with Pamela to create Right Brain Kids -- a far-reaching vehicle for promoting Right Brain Education to parents and teachers to show them how they can raise healthy, happy, highly intelligent children using these progressive, easy and enjoyable methods.
Yes! I'm ready to find out
how to advance my child.
We made the materials, the training and the support easy for you to give your child a great start in life right in the comfort of your own home. You don't have to quit your job or spend an inordinate amount of time making flashcards or preparing lessons any more, because all the preparatory work has been done for you.
Meet TweedleWink
Listen to Pamela, Developer and Trainer
Does Right Brain Education sound rather serious? In fact, it is not. Our early learning program is playful and fun! We even wanted it to sound fun, so we called it TweedleWink.
TweedleWink is a simple, yet powerful early learning program designed to augment any existing school program -- or used as a stand-alone program in a homeschool setting -- for children ages zero to six.
TweedleWink was initially developed by Pamela and a team of parents and teachers in a Montessori school setting that incorporated flashcards to teach early reading, math and encyclopedic knowledge as well as other brain-building exercises and accelerated learning techniques. Children who entered the classroom at about three to six months of age graduated to the preschool program at age three knowing the fundamentals of math, reading, music and language. About 50 percent of the infant-toddler graduates were reading using phonics, 100 percent could recognize a basic set of whole words, and all children had a wonderful grasp of math, naturally and joyfully embracing the Montessori math materials in the preschool.
“TweedleWink is so inspiring!”
-- C.Y.L., mother of one,
Singapore
TweedleWink methods are not rigorous. They have always been playful. Our motto is “relationships before results.” When we stay true to this maxim, children feel no stress. Their playful curiosity expands and ignites, fueling an eagerness to learn and explore their learning environment and any learning materials that they are offered along the way.
TweedleWink presents a basic understanding in key areas of learning, then lets your child's mind categorize and organize that knowledge through playful Montessori-inspired lessons.

The TweedleWink formula
The basic TweedleWink teaching formula is: 6 + 6 = 12. That is, we teach to the six senses of the child at six unique stages in their development with twelve accelerated learning techniques.
Some parents ask us why we teach to six senses. Well, neurologically, the more senses you involve in learning, the more sensorial impressions are received. The more connections that are made in the brain, the more a child remembers.
Incorporating the five physical senses requires little explanation -- when teaching about an apple, you encourage a child to look at it, touch it, to feel and hold it, to taste it and to smell it. In order to incorporate the sixth sense, you may ask how he feels about the apple. Or what he thinks about it. In a "sense," the sixth sense might also include subjective impressions from you -- your thoughts and feelings about the apple and the lesson overall.
An important principle to remember
Here is the part that we really wish to help all parents and teachers understand: If you are feeling a negative emotion while teaching -- such as feeling sad, frustrated, angry, or uncomfortable -- then as the child learns about the apple, your feeling of sadness, anger, frustration or uncomfortability is also blended into the child's learning experience at a subconscious level. The child will feel it, and might even react to it by acting-out in some way during the lesson.
On the other hand, when you are feeling positive about the lesson, about life in general and especially about the child before you, he will feel this sense of unconditional respect and acceptance. That impression will not only favorably color his impression about the apple (or whatever the subject matter may be), but more importantly, it will also lift his impression about the learning experience itself and future learning experiences to come.
“Why haven’t you brought this method to the school systems in the US? I think that we would have a much higher academic success rate if all children had this foundation early in life.”
-- H.D., mother of three,
Washington, USA
While an understanding of this principle is not unique to TweedleWink, the TweedleWink lessons gently but consistently remind you to imbue your one-on-one teaching and learning sessions with your child with a sense of joy and love. Your child will quickly associate the learning process itself with a sense of joy (and vice versa).
No matter how far you choose to go with Right Brain Education -- or any system of early childhood education -- we hope you will remember that this principle is the key to your child's success. And when your expressions of love, joy and respect are combined with our proven TweedleWink materials, well... you'll have a happy, wholesome and highly intelligent child.
