Art in Action

By a Teacher

When giving a PhotoEyeplay art lesson at a preschool, the teachers were amazed to see how quickly over twenty children quieted down after being handed their imaging board and play pieces.

That day, we just played. I explained how to after-image, and many children said that they experienced it, but we didn't count how long they held the after-image or what they saw.

We just concentrated on the fun!

One child made a rainbow and after-imaged it. Another child made a lion. One child used big colored squares -- all the same size. He imaged one color, then laid another color down to blend the after-image with the new color square.
