Conditions of Ordering

Authorization for billing

Upon my placing of an order through the Right Brain Kids web site, via telephone or via a method that I have deemed acceptable by virtue of my having placed such order, I authorize Right Brain Kids to charge the credit card I have specified, or to receive funds from my PayPal account, for the order total.

NOTE: Funds transferred through PayPal will reflect a transaction as having been paid to PAYPAL * RIGHTBRAINKIDS.

True and correct customer information

I affirm that the name and personal information that I will provide or have provided upon my placing an order are true and correct.

Understanding of terms

I further declare that I have read, understand, consent, acknowledge and agree with and to these Conditions of Ordering, the Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy as published on the Right Brain Kids web site.

Digital products non-refundability

Due to the volatile and virtual nature of digital products (those delivered as digital files or online), I consent, acknowledge and agree that any and all digital product purchases I make are final and non-refundable.

Order turnaround for physical products

Orders for physical products shipping within the U.S. are processed within 48 hours of receipt and shipped within one to two business days thereafter. International orders may take an additional day or two (in addition to normal processing time) so that your order can be transferred to our nearest shipping location.

Once your order for physical products has been shipped you will be notified via email.

Delivery to addressee

Deliveries are made normally by various commercial carriers to anyone at the public address you specify. We have no relationship with the delivery person, nor are we in direct communication with him or her. Therefore, the carriers are not able to follow personalized delivery instructions, like ringing the doorbell twice, leaving the package in a specific physical spot, not leaving it in a certain spot, waiting a minimum time for somebody to answer, leaving it with an alternate party or at a different address if you are not home, or any other custom requests. Please understand that any special instructions are not able to be given to a delivery person. Even if such communication was always possible, we cannot guarantee that the delivery person would follow the request, especially if it is outside of their normal line of duty, and they have many more urgent deliveries to make.

Therefore, custom delivery instructions are not able to be accommodated.

If you have a concern, please use a shipping address that you feel confident will hold your package for you temporarily if you are unable to directly receive the delivery yourself in person.

We cannot assume the responsibility if your package is confirmed to have been delivered but is missing.

If a delivery was attempted to the shipping address that you specified, but your package was returned to us as undeliverable due to a malformed, ambiguous or incomplete shipping address that you gave us, a new shipping charge will again apply to the corrected or new address that you specify. (Note: This is often a factor leading to order status inquiries for deliveries not yet received.)

If you are at a temporary address (like a hotel) we cannot guarantee that the package will arrive during your stay. If it does not, you assume the task and responsibility of arranging with the receiving party for its shipment to you.

Weekend orders

Orders for physical products are not processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will begin to be processed on Monday or Tuesday.

Shipping delays on out-of-stock physical products

We always strive for customer satisfaction. However, some shipping delays are beyond our control (i.e., inclement weather and shipping carrier misroutings). In order to ensure your order for physical products arrives promptly, please review all information submitted before processing orders.

Occasionally, a physical product may be out of stock. Out-of-stock orders will be held "open" until the physical product is again available, whereupon it will be shipped immediately upon our inventory replenishment.

Cancellations for physical products

Cancellations must be made within 24 hours after the order is placed for a full refund if your order has not yet shipped. Please contact our Customer Service department through our Help Desk to cancel your order.

In such case, please allow two to three business days for your order to be refunded. You will be notified via email with a confirmation once a refund has been issued.

Returns and warranty on physical products

All of our physical items are protected by a 30-day physical materials warranty provided that they have not been mishandled or a DVD forcibly removed from a case that caused damage. If you have an item that you think is defective, and it is within the 30-day period, please contact our Help Desk for further direction. If physical materials need replacement, we will send you a replacement.

When returning a defective item, please include a copy of the invoice and a brief statement indicating the defective nature of the merchandise. Upon arrival to us, we will rectify the defect.

Damaged goods received

All of our items undergo an inspection before shipment to ensure that they are functional and free of damage. Therefore, any damage to items most likely occurred during the shipping process. If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within three days of receiving through our Help Desk so that we can make arrangements to replace or compensate for your damaged item.

Returned physical products

Returns are not accepted for physical returns unless it is shown to be defective. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance costs on returned items. We strongly recommend that you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged, and you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery (for your protection).

Items will only be accepted if they are returned with all of the packaging materials and documentation (or a photocopy of your purchase receipt or invoice).

If any products are returned back to us and found not to be defective, they are subject to a 10 percent restocking fee.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Resolution of dissatisfaction

I consent, acknowledge and agree that if I have any question, concern, dissatisfaction or dispute about the product purchase, the payment charges or any other issue related to the transaction, I will first bring these issues to Right Brain Kids to seek resolution.

Things sometimes happen. Right Brain Kids is committed to high standards of customer service, and Right Brain Kids will attempt to resolve your question or concern in an effective manner.
